The dreaded Red Ring of Death is reported to affect 1 out of every 3 xbox360's (models before the xbox360 slim). If your Xbox is still under warranty, then you can get it repaired for free by Microsoft (including all postage). If you're in the unlucky position of having those 3 flashing red lights and your warranty has expired, you have 4 choices - Return to Microsoft (repair around £80), chuck it and buy a new xbox (around £150), try and repair it yourself or contact us and we'll repair it for you.

We can repair your xbox by replacing some components in your xbox that cause the red ring error. Firstly, we strongly recommend that you check to see if your Xbox is still in warranty, because you can get it repaired for free by Microsoft if it is (as once we open your xbox, it will void the warranty). This repair replaces components that make up parts of the cooling system within the xbox. Better fixings for the heat sync are added, new thermal compound is added to both the GPU and the CPU, new heat sync pads Thermal (K pads) are added and additional heat syncs are added to the Southbridge and ANA scaler chips. As mentioned above, our fix cures around 98% of xboxes, as a majority of these errors are caused by heating problems on the graphics chip. When you get the 3 red lights, you may also have experienced freezing or large blocks of colour on your screen.
